Over the next few days I will be posting photo prints for sale on society6.com. I have often thought about providing prints, but it always seems like too much work for me to do in between everything else I have going on. I like Society6 because they let you name your own price/profit and have excellent printing quality!
If you have a request for a print to be added to the site please shoot me an email at carajo[at]cara-jo[dot]net and I’ll try to accommodate!
I will also be posting some instagram photos up there too, for a low price of $18! They are 6” by 6” prints on 8” by 8” linen paper.
Check back often and follow me on Twitter for frequent updates!
Remember that day a few weeks ago when I said I was going to do a new photo a day project with themes and stuff?
I decided not to do it.
I decided that the whole ‘themes’ idea was great and all, but the thought of it looming over me because overwhelming and just made me avoid my camera. It’s still packed in my bag from my trip to Arizona where it has been tucked away since December 31st.
The thought of all the themes, having to do it, and the expectations of everyone expecting to see photos of a theme or whatever was keeping me awake at night.
SO - there will be a photo project this year - and it will probably be an everyday thing - but it won’t be themed, and it won’t be like last year’s. It will be filled with happiness and joy and there will be no life changes that come from my project.
Life is pretty awesome right now and all I want to do is share that with you guys.
I do however want to focus more on film photography - so I will still be doing that part of my project.
I’ve decided that for 2012 I want to bring back the photo a day project! The question is, what should I do!? Should I do monthly themes? Weekly themes? Daily themes? Where each month, week, or day has a different predetermined theme. Or, just do it like I did last year, just take it day by day. If you have an idea, reply to this post or shoot me an ask (top right corner). All suggestions appreciated!
You can now order my Photo a Day book online at blurb.com! It’s titled One Year: August 17, 2010 - August 16, 2011. It’s a 7” square book with exactly 200 pages (because I’m awesome like that). You can purchase it for $41.95 from blurb’s web site.
BUT It’s almost Christmas time so you shouldn’t be buying yourself things you want until after you’ve received them from your family members and friends. But, if you want to buy it as a gift for someone you can go ahead and do that.
I totally get $5 from all sales, and that will go into a special spot on my Paypal devoted to camera goodies. :)
Are those all working cameras that are in your camera collection??
About 95% of them are working! Some of them have small thing wrong with them like a hole in the bellows or a crack in the case that keep them from ‘working’. Most of them that don’t work I can fix and get working again!
